Responsible for providing leadership, direction, training, and management for financial activities, resources, and operations of the division, college, institution, campus, or system-wide. Provides strategic expertise and guidance, and has increased accountability. Management-level roles have the management and development of people as a major accountability and have direct reports. Serves as a member of the Chancellor’s leadership team and advises senior leaders on financial related matters. Oversees the areas of finance and administration and develops and implements campus-wide financial strategies.

Serves an elected officer by the Board of Trustees and is directly responsible to the President. Accountable for the administration of all financial operations of the University, including the development of a financial and operational strategy, metrics tied to that strategy, and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets, report accurate financial results, monitoring adherence to the budget and development of long term financial and operational strategies. Assists the President in the active management of the University and performs such specific duties as from time to time may be prescribed by the President, the Board, or by any standing or special committee of the Board.
