During the state of Tennessee’s open enrollment period, starting Oct. 1 and running through Oct. 12, UT faculty and staff will have the opportunity to sign up and make changes to health, dental and vision insurance. Employees also will have the opportunity to make changes to their term life insurance, long-term care and optional special accident programs.

Pharmacy benefits are included when you and your dependents enroll in a health plan. The plan you choose determines the out-of-pocket prescription costs.
While the Partnership Promise will go away and will no longer be part of any health plan, members and enrolled spouses can get cash rewards for participating in a voluntary wellness program.

Partnership Promise members may be required to participate in disease management or case management health coaching in 2017.
The Partnership PPO and Standard PPO remain the state’s two health insurance plans. Both plans cover the same services and treatments, but the Partnership plan offers lower costs and better discounts. In exchange, members must agree to fulfill the Partnership Promise each year, which is designed to help Tennesseans live healthier lifestyles and lower healthcare costs for everyone.
