Advancement Specialist III
Job Summary
Performs complex administrative and/or clerical services; may supervise designated personnel and/or departmental operations.
Job Functions
Works semi-routine tasks, requiring judgment to apply broader aspects of established practices and procedures to situations not falling clearly within the limitations of accepted practices.
Identifies, ranks, and researches individual, corporate, and foundation potential donors to the university; conveys information to staff.
Ensures integrity and oversees all security aspects of database; generates reports.
Requests reports to aid in identifying potential problems. Checks for duplicates in data.
Manages yearly mailing of donor correspondence; coordinates printing process, verifies monetary data; puts together items to mail out.
May supervise designated personnel. Assists and checks work as required.
Performs other related duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications
High school degree and five-six years office experience. Two years of experience equates to one year of post-high school education.
