Leading From Where You Are
“Leading from Where You Are” is a certificate program designed for the professional development of all employees regardless of status, classification, or title. The program is the preliminary learning opportunity that anchors the overall leadership development focus of UT System HR Employee and Organizational Development. The program is recommended for all employees and its inclusion is suggested as part of the onboarding plan for all new hires.
Session 1 – Session 6 are held at 10:00am – 11:30am. Session 7 is held at 10:00am – 12:00pm. All session are held on ZOOM.

- February 13th – Session 2
- February 27th – Session 3
- March 12th – Session 4
- March 26th – Session 5
- April 9th – Session 6
- April 23rd – Session 7
Program Benefits:

Intended Audience:
This program is designed for everyone, regardless of position or title.
Methodology:
The program consists of seven sessions, delivered over the course of a semester via Zoom. The interactive nature of the program will encourage participants to engage with the material, share experiences, and learn from each other. A combination of required readings, independent assignments, discussions, virtual facilitated group sessions, and online presentations will be employed to facilitate learning. Participation in all learning activities is a requirement for successful completion and awarding of the “Leading From Where You Are” certificate.
