Testimonials

Words cannot express my gratitude and appreciation for the opportunity to attend the Administrative Professionals Retreat! This retreat is one of the BEST training opportunities the university can offer the administrative staff. The speakers and presentations are great, and the retreat provides not only a time to learn, but a time to reflect and reinvigorate. The location at Park Vista in Gatlinburg is perfect! I left the retreat with new ideas and renewed joy in working for the university.

The Administrative Professionals Retreat is one of the highlights of the year for me. The topics and the speakers are always interesting and informative. The location overlooking Gatlinburg is also fantastic. I enjoy interacting with new and old friends who are also coworkers and seeing how we all fit into this big entity known as the University of Tennessee. Makes me proud to be a part of it.

I come away from the Administrative Professionals Retreat feeling refreshed and energized to get back to work to apply the new information I’ve learned, whether it’s on health issues or new ideas for a better life, or ways to add more joy to my life. One of the most satisfying aspects of the retreat is meeting others and connecting with colleagues from other UT campuses. It is a joy to network with them at the retreat and in the months that follow.

My experience at the Administrative Professionals Retreat was awesome! Our theme was “Begin it Now! Creating Purpose and Being Deliberate in Your Work & Life” and each session offered valuable advice on how to accomplish this goal. The retreat location was absolutely beautiful and the opportunity to meet colleagues from across the state was truly great. I am confident that my professional development was enhanced because of this event.
