When April Showers Bring May Allergies

Category: Features

by Lauren Hood

Spring is a season of warm sunshine, blooming dogwoods and pastel colors. For some people, it’s the most wonderful time of the year. They shake off the layers of cold winter coats and welcome the warm, fresh air that comes with springtime. For other people, spring means headaches, sneezing and itchy throats. That’s because warmer weather brings increased pollen and the beginning of allergy season.

Making time to see a doctor, get allergy shots or pick up prescriptions can be hard with a busy schedule. For your convenience, consider using the many on-campus health services available to faculty and staff, including:

• 423-425-2266
