Who is K@TE?

Category: Features

Good question, but actually, K@TE is a what and not a who. In fact, K@TE is an acronym for a new online system giving University of Tennessee employees access to more than 400 in-person and e-learning professional development courses, seminars and conferences all from one, central location.

The new Knowledge and Training Excellence (K@TE) system makes the process of registering for and completing courses easier and more efficient. The system also allows employees to save courses of interest, track progress toward training goals and view transcripts of completed courses. It offers more than 300 e-learning courses on a variety of topics.

Among them:

  • Business ethics
  • Effective business communication
  • Environmental health and safety
  • Dynamics of leadership
  • Dealing with conflict
  • Organizational change
  • Workplace diversity

Use your NetID and password to log in. Then browse the course catalog by subject, date or location. The site also contains user and trouble-shooting guides.
