For Deborah Seward, It’s About Helping Members of Her Community
Whether it’s working with community members or 4-H youth, Deborah Seward finds ways to help Gibson County residents.
“Working with the 4-H program has been the most rewarding part of my job. They keep me on my toes and young,” Seward said.
Seward was identified early on in her career as the right fit for Extension.
“A retired Extension agent suggested that I apply for Extension because she said I had the right personality: a sense of humor and a love for people,” she said.
These qualities have served Seward well, helping her make connections both in the community and across the state.
“There are not many people that can say they have relatives and know people in every county. And that really means a lot,” she said.
