Technical Assistant I

Job Summary

Assists in performing technical duties in the installation, maintenance, and service of equipment.

Job Functions

• Assists in inspections, repairs and testing of equipment.
• Assists in preparing and conducting training programs.
• May modify previously installed equipment to ensure compatibility with new units, or install safety devices or attachments to old equipment.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications

High school degree or completion of trade school or apprenticeship. Experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis. Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
