Extension Agent in Training

Job Summary

Responsible for planning, implementing, evaluating, and reporting agriculture and family and consumer sciences programs under, or with, supervisor or an Extension Agent.

Job Functions

• Plans, implements, evaluates, and reports various programs for the county.
• Works with county staff and others to review county situations to determine areas for improvement, select long and short objectives, and decide on courses of action. Reports to Extension Agent.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, family and consumer sciences, or closely related field of study and six-seven years of experience.
