UTHSC Chancellor
The chancellor serves as the chief executive officer of the statewide University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC). The Health Science Center (headquartered in Memphis) contains all six of UT’s doctoral-degree-granting health science colleges—Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Nursing, Graduate Health Science, and Health Professions. UTHSC spans the state with four major, regional clinical Health Science locations in Memphis, Knoxville, Chattanooga and Nashville. The Health Science Center, together with its clinical practice plans, employs more than 6,000 people statewide and its faculty members comprise one of the largest practice groups in the region. UTHSC is also the largest educator of health care professionals in the state including the state’s largest residency and fellowship advanced training programs.

The University treasurer is an officer elected by the Board of Trustees and reports to the senior vice president and chief financial officer. The treasurer is responsible for all accounting, cash management, financial reporting, endowment investment reporting, financial audits and compliance, and other treasury functions. The treasurer is also responsible for procurement services and risk management and is a member of the president’s financial leadership team. He or she will also serve as the treasurer for the University’s Research Foundation, which is a separate legal entity.

Assistant/Associate Vice President for Student Success
The assistant/associate vice president for student success works collaboratively with each of the UT campuses to provide coordination of student success across the UT System. The AVPSS is expected to collaborate with campus leadership, chief student affairs officers, academic affairs and student success staff, as well as other campus stakeholders in an effort to promote a high-quality academic student experience. The AVPSS is expected to support student success at all UT campuses and represent the UT System in state, regional, and national student success initiatives.
